Our approach

We love the symbolism of the moon, and we are also honest about what it is. The moon phases on this site are real astronomy, calculated from the lunar cycle. The meanings we attach to them come from astrology, folklore and centuries of human storytelling, not from science. We present them as a playful way to start conversations, reflect on relationships and enjoy the night sky.
